    What Are Closing Costs?

Closing costs are the fees and expenses you pay to finalize your mortgage and officially take ownership of your new home.

    How Much Should You Expect?

Typically, closing costs range from 2% to 5% of the home's purchase price. For a $300,000 home, this could be between $6,000 and $15,000.

    What Do They Include?

Common closing costs include loan origination fees, appraisal fees, title searches, title insurance, surveys, taxes, deed-recording fees, and credit report charges.

    Can You Negotiate Closing Costs?

In some markets, buyers can ask sellers to contribute to closing costs, known as seller concessions. As your Realtor, I will negotiate the best possible terms on your behalf.
